Hua Gallery is pleased to announce a solo exhibition featuring works by Wen Wu. A Re-interpretation of the Fairytale explores beauty through the lens of a fairytale. Representing the strength of the woman, Wen Wu’s oriental heroines re-interpret the historic ideals of the female and their place in the fairytale. Wen Wu paints Chinese women who are sensual yet strong, beautiful but also powerful. The paintings also exemplify the strength of Wu’s technical skill, and focuses on a unique oriental beauty in a familiar and fantastical story.
